PlayerMatch: Play for Fun or Compete One-on-One
Looking for a different way to enjoy pool? PlayerMatch at The Sussex Saloon offers two options, so you can choose how you want to play.
Play-for-Fun Matches
A play-for-fun match lets you enjoy friendly competition without entering a paid tournament. It’s an opportunity to practice, meet another player, and put your skills to work across the table.
Try a new shot, improve your positioning, or simply enjoy the challenge of a good game. You don’t have to be chasing a tournament win to have a great time playing billiards.
Paid One-on-One Pool Tournaments
For players who want a more competitive experience, PlayerMatch also offers paid one-on-one pool tournaments.
Individual competition puts the focus on your decisions, accuracy, and consistency. Every rack is an opportunity to plan ahead, control the cue ball, and challenge yourself against an opponent.
Ask our staff about PlayerMatch participation, available game formats, tournament entry fees, rules, and applicable table charges.

At The Sussex Saloon, you can enjoy a meal before playing, take a break between games, and catch sports on the TVs. Our combination of pool hall, restaurant, and sports bar in Sussex, NJ, makes it easy to plan an evening with friends who enjoy different things.
Come for the billiards and stay for the food, conversation, and entertainment.
